PEBCO Automotive Services is a family-owned automotive workshop with over 40 years of experience serving Perth and surrounding areas. Since 1980, we have provided high-quality, reliable, and comprehensive vehicle servicing and repairs. From cars and 4WDs to light commercial vehicles, our workshop offers mechanical and electrical repairs, air-conditioning servicing, and small fabrication work.
Over 40 Years of Outstanding Vehicle Service
Pat and Chris Browne co-founded PEBCO in 1980, starting with a backyard workshop before expanding to a factory unit in Myaree in 1981. Over the past four decades, we have established a reputation for delivering full “bumper-to-bumper” services for vehicles of all types. As local WA residents, we understand the community’s needs and have tailored our services to provide fast, efficient, and convenient solutions. Even when a job requires work outside our workshop, such as panel or paint repairs, we coordinate with trusted providers so you only need to drop off and collect your vehicle once.
History of Our Automotive Workshop
Pat accumulated extensive experience locally and overseas before starting PEBCO. He purchased the Hamilton Hill property in 1990, where the workshop still operates today, covering all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and automotive repairs. PEBCO Automotive was an Authorised Inspection Station for the Department of Transport for 17 years up until 2026, conducting vehicle inspections for thousands of loyal customers Perth-wide. Pat has held various positions in the Motor Trade Association in the Automotive Repairers Division and was later selected for the Board of Directors, serving as President for seven years. In 2014, he was awarded life membership for his contributions to the WA automotive industry.

Buddy
Meet Buddy, our beloved PEBCO mascot! This gentle greyhound is the definition of calm and relaxed. Most days, you’ll find Buddy peacefully napping on the cool tiled floor, and when summer rolls in, he smartly claims a spot right under the air conditioning. With his laid-back nature, Buddy brings a little extra warmth (and a lot of charm) to the workshop!

Pat Brown is the Senior Technician and Senior DoT Inspector, as well as a Working Director and Business Owner. He specialises in providing quotes, technical advice, and apprentice training. As an active member of the MTA, Pat brings a wealth of expertise to the team.
Christine Browne
Business Owner and PEBCO Director, overseeing administration and accounts with extensive experience in the automotive industry and small business management. With a strong background in public relations and sales, Chris is dedicated to fostering clear communication and delivering exceptional customer service. Committed to creating a positive, supportive environment for both staff and customers.
David Galati

David is PEBCO’s Service Manager, bringing over 28 years of experience in the automotive industry. A qualified auto electrician, auto air con mechanic, and motor mechanic, David has a wealth of knowledge across all things mechanical. He has extensive experience working with 4WDs, trucks, trailers, boats, and more. We’re confident your experience with David at PEBCO will be nothing short of exceptional.
Alwyn
Alwyn is our Service Advisor Hero, with many years of experience in the automotive industry. Working closely with our Service Manager, David, Al is one of your first points of contact when you visit our Service Department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the moment you arrive.
Kristy
Kristy is the friendly face of our Service Department and the first person you’ll usually meet when bringing your vehicle in. With a strong background in retail and administration, she brings exceptional organisational skills and customer service to the team. She also has previous experience at Harley-Davidson and Ducati, giving her valuable industry knowledge. As our receptionist, Kristy keeps everything running smoothly—but she’s much more than that! An all-rounder, she goes above and beyond, assisting the team with a variety of tasks beyond just admin. Her dedication and versatility make her an essential part of our crew.
